The Role
To support the next phase of PMB’s growth, the position of Systems & Network Administrator has been created to bridge the gap between the Helpdesk and Senior Network Administrator and will be responsible for providing a range of technology services across the organisation.

Reporting to the IT Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and supporting systems and infrastructure including:
    • Linux
    • Windows server
    • Microsoft 365
    • WatchGuard & Aruba
    • Citrix
    • VM ware
  • Providing 2nd level helpdesk support
  • Conducting cyber security related activities (e.g. patching, monitoring)
  • User account MAC
  • SLA and security reporting
  • Certificate management
  • Database administration
  • Providing end user training
  • Asset management

 
About You
Our ideal applicant will be a tertiary qualified IT professional who is either in a similar role currently or is an experienced helpdesk officer seeking to broaden their skills and experience. Either way, you will possess exceptional communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.

Your IT knowledge and experience will include:

  • PC systems including apple mobile device hardware and operating systems
  • Network repairs and analysis
  • Microsoft server and cloud administration
  • Citrix
  • VMware
  • Veeam
  • Watchguard firewall and Wi-Fi
  • SQL database administration
  • Linux (Ubuntu) administration

The ability to obtain NV1 Defence Clearance (Must be an Australian Citizen) is also a key requirement.
